Bingo Generator is designed to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what is processed when you use the site, generate cards or contact us.

Data processed when you use the tools
Words, titles, pictures, generated cards, marks and caller history are handled by JavaScript in your browser. They are not sent to the server. So that the editor, download page and caller can work together, some of this data is kept on your device:
- Session storage: your editor settings and your latest generated batch. It is cleared when you close the browser tab.
- IndexedDB: pictures you add are stored on your device. When the picture tool next opens, stored pictures older than 24 hours are removed. You can remove them from the editor or clear browser site data sooner.
- Memory only: marks in the card player and calls in the caller. They disappear when you reload or leave the page.
PDFs and .bingocard files you download contain your entries and any pictures you added. Check them before sharing them with other people.
Server logs
Like most websites, the web server records standard access and error logs when a page or file is requested: IP address, date and time, requested address, response status, referring page and browser user agent. They are used to keep the site secure and working, for example to investigate errors or abuse. Access and error logs rotate at 10 MB. Access-log archives are configured for 10-day retention. The site’s error-log configuration does not define a fixed age-based retention period. Logs are not used for profiling or advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
The bingo tools use essential browser storage. The contact form sets bg-contact-csrf, an essential security cookie limited to /contact/ that expires after one hour. It is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict, and is used to check that a submission belongs to the form visit. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Privacy and storage in the footer explains the current storage. Details are on the cookie policy. There is no automatic consent banner while no optional services are configured.
Contact messages and abuse prevention
The contact form processes your name, email address, subject and message to send an email to contact@bingogenerator.co. If you use your own email app, the email providers that transport your message also process it. The website does not save the message body in its rate-limit files.
The form stores IP-derived, keyed security identifiers and counters outside the public website to limit repeated requests and suppress duplicate submissions. These records contain no message body. Records older than 24 hours are eligible for cleanup during later form use; clearing your browser does not delete the server’s temporary abuse records.
Messages in the contact mailbox are used to handle your request. A fixed mailbox retention period has not been established in the supplied configuration. To ask about a message or request its deletion, email contact@bingogenerator.co.
Hosting and email providers
The web host serves the website and processes technical server logs. The configured mail server transports contact submissions to the contact mailbox; email and forwarding providers also process those messages. Fonts, scripts and site images are served from bingogenerator.co.
External references are ordinary links, not embedded third-party scripts. Following one opens another provider’s website, which has its own data-handling practices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because the tools keep your content on your own device, you can delete it yourself by closing the tab or clearing site data. For data we hold, such as emails or server logs, write to contact@bingogenerator.co.
Children
The bingo tools do not ask for personal details. Teachers can use the classroom lists without entering pupil names. The contact form does ask for a name and reply email; include only the information needed to handle your question.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for example if analytics are ever added, this policy and the cookie settings will be updated before the change takes effect. Last updated: 14 October 2026.
